dc.description.abstract	To consider the importance of the forests to the microclimatic stability, water and air quality and outdoor recreation, conjunctly with its industrial and energetic importance is a necessity of the regional planning. Thus, was analysed the environmental situation of the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba and based on diagnostic map, was elaborate a forestry macrozoneament for the region, enfatizing the social functions of the forests.	pt_BR
