A produção florestal e a industrialização de seus resíduos na região de Jaguariaíva – Paraná

Abstract

A Região de Jaguariaíva – PR é considerada uma região industrial madeireira de papel e celulose, contudo não apresenta dados específicos e abrangentes que permitam dimensiona-la. Com base neste fato, o trabalho trata da avaliação do setor florestal da região de Jaguariaíva – PR, com o objetivo geral de verificar a importância do setor florestal, e a industrialização dos resíduos gerados na região na produção de carvão vegetal e briquetes. Especialmente, visou-se avaliar a importância da produção florestal na região de Jaguariaíva – PR, verificar a origem dos resíduos e sua industrialização na Empresa Bricarbrás Briquetagem e Carbonização do Brasil Ltda. O trabalho foi desenvolvido diretamente em duas empresas, a Vale do Corisco, a maior representante da área de florestas produtivas da região, e a Bricarbrás, pioneira na produção de carvão vegetal e briquetes num processo inovador. Os resultados indicaram que a representatividade da empresa do setor florestal na região é de relevada importância, por representar 84% de toda a área produtiva do município e, com relação a industrialização dos resíduos, também se mostrou eficiente, por possuir uma grande produtividade com alta tecnologia e produção limpa, sendo que a empresa está localizada, praticamente, dentro do município, em área urbana.

The Region of Jaguariaíva - PR for being considered a lumber industrial region, of paper and cellulose and not to consist with specific data and in-depth that allows to visualize its largeness, with base in this fact the work treats with the evaluation of the forest sector of the region of Jaguariaíva - PR and with the general objective to verify the importance of the forest sector and the industrialization of the residues generated in the production of charcoal and briquets. Especially it aimed at to evaluate the importance of the forest production in the region of Jaguariaíva - PR and to verify the origin of the residues and its industrialization at Bricarbrás Company, Briquets and Carbonization of Brazil Ltda. The work was developed directly in two companies, the Corisco’s Vale, which is the greater representative of the productive forests area of the region and another one, the Bricarbrás Company, who is the pioneer in the production of charcoal and briquets in one innovative process. The results indicate that the representation of the company of the forest sector in the region is extremely important for representing 84% of all the productive area of the city, with regard to industrialization of the residues also showed efficient, for have a great productivity, with high technology and clean production, being that the company is practically located inside of the city, urban area.
