Contribuição dos produtos florestais não madeireiros na geração de renda na floresta nacional do Tapajós - Pará

Abstract

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a contribuição dos Produtos Florestais Não Madeireiros na geração de renda para as comunidades na Floresta Nacional do Tapajós. Nela são apresentados os principais produtos florestais não madeireiros comercializados na Flona Tapajós, suas cadeias produtivas, as quantidades extraídas, custos de produção, preços, receitas e margens de lucro. A metodologia utilizada para coleta dos dados junto aos extrativistas e suas associações comunitárias se deu através de entrevistas estruturadas e semi-estruturadas, sendo a primeira com apoio de questionário e a segunda baseada no método de Levantamento Rápido Rural. No tratamento dos dados e informações qualitativas e quantitativas foram sintetizadas em forma de texto e tabelas com registros de preços. O trabalho apresenta pequeno histórico do extrativismo na Flona, mostrando a importância do mercado extrativista para a região. Mostrou ainda, que o extrativismo vem há décadas sendo um dos meios de sustentação das populações amazônicas, além de fazer parte da cultura destes povos e ser fator importante para o equilíbrio das relações sociais e de gênero. Observou-se que a partir de financiamentos governamentais os extrativistas passaram a organizar sua produção através das associações comunitárias. A tendência aponta para a diversificação dos recursos florestais através do uso múltiplo, agregação de valores, utilização de tecnologias adequadas, manejo florestal, pesquisa apropriada com enfoque sistêmico, diversificação dos atuais sistemas de produção, e num plano estratégico a necessidade de reestruturação dos canais de comercialização. Uma participação ativa no mercado está relacionada com a organização comunitária, seja em grupos, associações ou cooperativa. Isto pressupõe investimento em formação e capacitação. Finalmente, vários estudos falam sobre biodiversidade na Amazônia, no entanto estudos que nos proporcionem informações sobre os potenciais em termos de quantidades disponíveis destes recursos ainda são poucos. Logo, são necessárias maiores informações destes produtos que poderão auxiliar, em muito, os interessados em fazer manejo sustentável, uma das fontes de renda das populações amazônicas.

This research has the objective to demonstrate to the results of the economic evaluation of Nontimber Forest Products in the National Forest of the Tapajós in the income generation for the communities. In the main commercialized nontimber forest products in the Flona Tapajós, its productive chains, the extracted amounts are presented, costs of production, prices, prescriptions and edges of profit. The methodology used with the families and association of the communities if gave through structuralized and know-structuralized interviews, being the first one with questionnaire support. In the treatment of the data, qualitative and quantitative information had been presented in form of text and tables with registers of prices. The work presents small description of the extration in the Flona, showing the importance of the families market for the region. It still showed, that the extraction comes to decades being one of the ways of sustentation them Amazonian populations as well as the subsistence agriculture and fishes, besides being part of the culture of these peoples and to be important factor for the balance of the social relations and of sort. One observed from financings the communities they had been organized and they started the oil productions, generating income and increasing auto-they esteem. The trend points with respect to the diversification of the forest resources through the multiple use, aggregation of values, use of adjusted technologies, forest handling, appropriate research with systematic approach, diversification of the current systems of production, and in a strategical plan the necessity of reorganization of the commercialization canals. An active participation in the market is related with the communitarian organization, either in groups, associations or cooperative. This estimates investment in formation and qualification. Finally, some studies speak on biodiversity in the Amazonia, however studies that in provide information to them on the potentials in terms of available amounts of these resources still are few. Therefore, one becomes necessary more information of these products that will be able to assist, in very, the interested parties in making sustainable handling, one of the sources of income of the Amazonian populations.
