Avaliação do grau de retenção de informações em oficinas de reciclagem de papel

Abstract

O Engenheiro Florestal desempenha um papel importante na difusão dos conhecimentos relacionados à tecnologia e utilização dos produtos de origem florestal. No presente trabalho, analisou-se o potencial contributivo do Engenheiro Florestal em relação à transferência de uma técnica de reciclagem de papel para três segmentos da sociedade interessados no tema, dentro do "Projeto ReciclAmente". O nível de aprendizagem dos participantes foi avaliado a partir da estimativa do grau de retenção das informações, através da utilização de questionários apropriados, respondidos antes e após oficinas de reciclagem de papel. Também foi aplicado um teste psicopedagógico, elaborado por ANDRADE (2004), para avaliar a afinidade dos participantes com o processo de reciclagem de papel. As oficinas de reciclagem de papel que foram consideradas nas avaliações, coordenadas por engenheiros florestais ou estudantes de engenharia florestal, vêm sendo oferecidas desde o ano de 2004, primeiramente no Colégio Estadual Professor Daltro Santos, da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro (2° Grau) e no Instituto Superior de Tecnologia em Ciências Ambientais, da Cidade de Paracambi, RJ (3° Grau) e, mais recentemente, na COOPERMIZO – Cooperativa Mista de Trabalho e de Produção da Zona Oeste, na Cidade do Rio de Janeiro, para trabalhadores com baixo nível de escolaridade. Os resultados demonstraram que há uma significativa diferença entre os graus de retenção das informações, sobretudo em virtude dos diferentes níveis de aprendizagem dos participantes, sendo maior para os estudantes de 2° grau e menor para os trabalhadores da cooperativa. O teste psicopedagógico demonstrou que há uma maior afinidade dos estudantes de 2° grau e 3° grau pelos aspectos lúdicos e de lazer da reciclagem, enquanto que os trabalhadores da cooperativa preocupam-se mais com os seus aspectos econômicos. Ficou evidenciada a facilidade com que os profissionais da Engenharia Florestal lidam com o tema em pauta, o que denota o grande potencial dos mesmos no que tange à difusão das informações sócio-ambientais ligadas à reciclagem de papel.

The Forest Engineer plays an important part in the diffusion of knowledge related to the technology and use of forest origin products. In the present work the Forest Engineer's contributive potential was analyzed in relation to the transfer of a technique of paper recycling for three segments of society interested in the theme, inside of the "Recyclemind Project". The level of the participants’ was evaluated starting from the estimation of the information retention degree throughout the use of appropriate questionnaires, answered before and after shops of paper recycling. A psychological test elaborated by ANDRADE (2004) was also applied to evaluate the participant’s afinity with the process of paper recycling. The shops of paper recycling which were considered in the evaluations, coordinated by forest engineers or students of forest engineering have been offered since 2004, first in the State School Teacher Daltro Santos, in the Rio de Janeiro City (2nd degree) and in the Superior Institute of Technology in environmental Sciences in Paracambi City, RJ (3rd degree) and, more recently, in COOPERMIZO - Mixed Cooperative of Work and Production of the Western Zone, in the City of Rio de Janeiro, for workers with low level of education. The results demonstrated a significant difference among the degrees of retention of the information, above all by virtue of the different levels of the participant’s leaning, being larger for the students of 2nd degree and smaller for the workers of the cooperative. The psychological test demonstrated that there are a larger afinity of the students of 2nd degree and 3rd degree for the playing and sparetime aspects of recycling while the workers of the cooperative worry more about its economic aspects. The Forest Engineering professional’s facility to work with the theme at issue was evidenced, which denotes the great potential, of the same ones, in what it plays to the diffusion of the social-environmental information linked to the paper recycling.
