Quantificação volumétrica do material lenhoso de espécies da Floresta Tropical Úmida de terra-firme no distrito agropecuário da Suframa

Abstract

This research work developed with data from 303 trees for several species from the tropical rain forest of upland located in the Agricultural Cattle Raising District of SUFRAMA, in lands of the Tropical Sílviculture Experimental Station from INPA, which has the objective of quantify, in cubage, the woody material characterized by stems, branches, stumps and the total. The average volume and percentage relation found for the stems, branches and stumps was 2,481 m3 (74,47%); 0,692 m3 (20,77%) ; and 0,159 m3 (4,76%) respectivelly, for the amount of sample trees. The percentage relation between the volume of branches and of the stems, and whose stems has the bigger stumps was determined as 27,89% and 26,21%, respectivelly.
