Resumo:
Feasibíiity study for the utilization of pinaster pine on the manufacturing of composition boards (flake and wafer) were developed using 19 year old trees from Rio Negro, Paraná. Thirthy two panels with densities 0,63 and 0,75 g/cm3 2 and 6% phenoI-forrnaldehyde were made. Properties like MOR and MOE water absortíon, internal bond fulfilled comercial standard 236-66 mat formed wood particleboard. An statistical Covariance analysis was carried out showing better properties for flakeboards.
